Go try and get a drive in one. It's hard to describe the C8 acceleration, as you see it on the gauges but don't feel it in the seat. Put it in track mode and you actually feel the shifts, but it's still very refined.

Having said all that, the C8 has insane handling (tightest Corvette I've ever driven) that actually will surprise you for the first few weeks. Was unsettling at first because you really need to drive it. Once I got used to the sensitivity and settings, I found that this is an excellent cruising car that is silly capable on the track.

Headed to Fellows next week to beat the crap out of one of their cars to find the edge.


All good advice - but bear in mind, Flex had an auto trans Z, so an auto C8 won't bother him, and he won't be buying a stick shift C7. I'd say go for it, esp. if the C7 auto Z is the same money. I'm just shocked that these things are over $120K. I understand it's CDN money, but still!
