This may sound like a crazy idea... But I've seen some builds with these and they are absolutely insane.
2020 or 2021 X3M.
For a couple grand you can get them running into the low tens in the mid-130s in a mid-size SUV. We really enjoy her 23 X3 and I get another 23 however they can only tune 20 and 21s right now.
BMW thought this was going to be either last ice engine and overbuilt the shit out of it. Motor can easily make into the mid-700s at the wheels with a completely stock block and internals.
The funniest part is the SUVs are geared differently than the cars so you take a tuned M3 and a tuned X3M and the X wins almost every time.
Year-round driver and plenty of room plus on the used market they're pretty cheap.
