ptindall to explain our pressing interest in having bases in Niger. What's the reason we are there, and how would simply withdrawing from the whole country impact the US? Would the vaunted Niger blue water navy be sailing to invade NYC? I mean, that actually might be an improvement, but that's not the point here.
I'd rather pull that equipment, and those troops out of Niger and put them on our southern border.
