I live on the large Sacandaga reservoir in Northern NYS. As I type this the reservoir is now over full, having water go over the dam.l Right now about a foot. From what I heard (No verification) the 3 8' Dow valves are also open and releasing water.
The weather guessers say we are in for a few days of heavy rain.(Just what we need
) I just came back from whats left of my beach and re-secured the 3 kayaks and a few other things down there.
I foresee a lot of problems for a lot of people. As for me other than my beach I do not think we are in trouble. Might have to rebuild parts of my long gravel driveway but my house sits much higher and unless a tree hits it all should be OK.
