So we relied on the Arabs, who hate us, for oil, and made them fabulously wealthy. They used that wealth to finance threats against our only ally in the region. And they hated us more, to the point that they hijacked our planes into our buildings.

Then Trump came into office and within a few short years we were energy independent. Then the Arabs respected us to the point that they recognized Israel as a state.
