I think it is a little funny how we are having these big press conferences with all kinds of "executives" and big government officials blabbing on and on about all the wonderful things they are doing because the ground shook a little for a few seconds. I'm guessing they all had these "protocols" in place from the last earthquake in the area (2002 IIRC?) so they have been waiting more than 2 decades to toot their own horn about it.

I figure it is about the same as sub-zero temperatures around here. Do we get them? Yeah, but it happens so rarely that it becomes newsworthy.
