Sounds like an awesome project.
I have models of most of the cool cars we've owned... still in the box. I spent way too much time reading about air brushes. I have an old Badger single action that I bought in the 80s to paint slot car bodies. I cheaped out and bought a <$40 Chicom double action and that will take some practice. Building a crude spray boot as I killed far to many brain cells spraying lacquer without a mask.
Will be nice to see some pics as projects get completed.
