Houston did that. They calculated the amount of land each property owner has that is covered with something impervious, a building, a concrete driveway or parking lot, etc., and taxed the property owners for that. Oh, and Houston's officially broke. |
I am aware, but it doesn't affect me, because I do not live in the actual city of Toronto.
I live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).
