The question is, what's the most expensive SMALL items that would fit in a grocery bag. Assuming it's the plastic bags they use at Walgreens, that's not that much volume, so unless there's one bigger ticket item that would fit in the bag, I'd think filling it with a bunch of small, relatively high priced stuff would be the way to go.

Maybe fill it with higher end razor blades? Or how about packages of the disc shaped batteries for your car's keyfob? Packs of those are probably upwards of $ 10, and they're so small, thin and lightweight, you could cram probably hundreds of them into a shopping bag, although a store probably wouldn't stock that many.

I don't know much about makeup, but that seems like a possible winner as well. What's a lipstick cost? $ 8+? Those are small, I bet you could easily get a couple hundred of them in a bag.
