Propaganda
The earliest I recall was in elementary school with consistent fear-driven drills to cower under your desk from some invisible enemy, with your hands over the back of your head while sirens blared loudly....total submissive state.
US federal propaganda goes waaay back to the indian wars of the 1800s..at least.
The lies and corrupted news sources, i.e., state-sponsored media at that time, simply lied to the population and continued to do so, ad nauseum for years until turning public sentiment against the natives. Fed sponsored propaganda campaigns utilizing tactics almost identical to today....just a different class of victims to ultimately destroy; conservatives.
History is simply repeating itself with a different oppressed group. History almost ALWAYS ends in the oppressor murdering/imprisoning/enslaving the oppressed. The feds have done this for centuries.
