It's actually amazing that a self claimed "car guy" would need an explanation as to why someone would want a Raptor or TRX over a base F150 or Ram and could possibly be so simple minded as to think that the only reason is how fast they go in a straight line.
If you really need that explanation, and it seems that you do, you simply don't get it and never will. EVs are a perfect fit for you.
