Just wondering, if truck guys don't care about the acceleration/performance of a truck, WHY did Ford create the Raptor versions of the truck? Why did RAM create the TRX? Sure, probably most truck owners do not care how fast their truck accelerates but there is a market segment of performance trucks that would not exist if there was no demand for them.
It's just like the SUV segment. There are those who need a truck or SUV but want sports car acceleration. That's why the Trackhawk, Durango Hellcat, Lambo Urus and Model X Plaid exist.
