My dad's family came over from Prussia in 1880. My mom's family came over from Germany much earlier: I have a great great grandfather and uncle who both served in the Civil War and in the Calvalry and Infantry from 1862-1870-ish. Both were at Antietam, Chancellorsville, and the uncle was at the signing at Appomattox. Union Army, fighting against the slavers.
But because I'm white, a boomer, and exist, I too am basically evil and must pay the black people money to make the pain go away.
