There are so many things that can go wrong with it. The US (and a handful of European countries) want to implement some laws governing it's use which should absolutely be a thing. I worry about adversarial countries using it for military applications which you can bet your ass they're already doing. Never mind the media portion of it (deep fakes, etc.) as those have been around for over 15 years. AI just makes them better and harder to spot. But when you put unregulated/biased AI in the hands of adversaries (China, Democrats, etc.) it becomes very dangerous, very quickly. (In fact, it already has...why do you think Congress is trying to regulate/govern it's use globally?)
