RIVALRY WEEK

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Rivalry week kicked off last night with the Egg Bowl. Ole Miss won to secure another 10 win season under Lane Kiffin AND knocked Mississippi State out of Bowl Season in the process.

We've got a ton more rivalry games today and tomorrow as well as games with huge playoff implications.

Friday Night in Prime Time it's the Civil War - Oregon State vs. Oregon. The Ducks are still alive for the College Football Playoff, and in all likelihood still control their own destiny. They need a win today against their in-state rival and then a revenge victory over Washington next week in the PAC title game.

GAME OF THE WEEK: #2 Ohio State @ #3 Michigan

Yet again this is the biggest game of the season. Winner has about a 99% chance of making the CFP unless they somehow score no points and lose to Iowa in the B1G title game next week. Loser is probably out absent a lot of chaos, because of the number of no-loss or 1 loss Power 5 conference champs we're likely to have. Jim Harbaugh is suspended and will not be on the sidelines. Didn't matter 2 weeks ago. Didn't matter in the 1st half last week. But the 2nd half against Maryland was shaky. Can the Wolverines keep their streak going? BIG pressure on Ryan Day, who has gained a reputation early in his career for not winning the big game. Imagine the heat from Buckeye nation if he still can't beat Harbaugh while Harbaugh is watching the game from his couch.
