i have a 3,000 gallon tank behind the guesthouse, two 2500 gallon tanks at the shop, and a buried 2500 gallon tank that supplies the house directly.
well has been dead for many years, and city/county water lines don't come out this far. haul about 800 gallons from the public bulk water station (fill your tank with a fire hose basically) about every 10 days.
if the rain water tanks (above) are full enough, then i use that water for a bit.
