Default Tips, advice, suggestions

I thought I'd start a thread about tips, ideas, and workarounds we've discovered that might be useful to others in the garage. I'll start with two:

1. After trying pretty much every glass cleaner on the market to keep my windshields and car windows clean and streak-free, I finally made my own mixture of 50/50 distilled water and rubbing alcohol. Works great and leaves no streaks or water spots (and cheap).

2. For you old geezers like myself who have no problem getting down on the garage floor with the help of gravity but struggle to get back up, get these push up handles.

You'll be surprised at how easy it is to push yourself up off the floor with these things. They are only a couple of inches high so I don't think it's the height that helps, I think it's the grip. It takes all of the strain off of your wrists. These things are a must for me. I keep them in my tool box and take them down with me when I get under my car. I got them on Amazon.

How about some more tips? I know you have them.

Take care,
Steve
