It's "Garage 56"

Long story short, it's in a class by itself. In recent history, the Delta Wing is the most well known of the cars that have run.

As for the "NASCAR engine" part, the various generations of Daytona prototypes have been using engines with a lot of the GM NASCAR technology and built by ECR since at least 2012 (if not before). I'm sure that ECR had plenty of input here as well. Lots of SB2s are running around in endurance/road racing. I'm sure that the current R07 has infinitely improved some of the SB2 weaknesses.

A whole lot of GM pushrod V8s have survived 24h endurance races. Hopefully this one will be up to the task as well.
