Hard hitting but has recoil to match. As said above it is expensive to buy and sometimes hard to find. Weapons in this caliber are generally full duty sized pieces if carry is a concern. I cannot recommend it for smaller or frailer folk because it can be punishing to shoot, and fullsize weapons tend to be heavy. Stout recoil springs make slide manipulation a chore as well. If you happen to reload, it can be tamed for practice if you can find components.
All that said, it is an interesting, powerful and viable cartridge... I do not choose to own one however.
