The safety net died and he has struggled for the past 13 years, but is living in reality and is 100% self-supportive and not on the system. The enablement of his parent handicapped him for over 20 years and was a huge contributor to his 'failure to launch' status and total lack of motivation and accountability.

Very eye opening guy. I have a cousin who is about 79 who has been doing that very thing for over 40 years for her daughter. I suspect, if the daughter is lucky, the same thing will happen to her.
