Was talking to friend who's eyesight came back suddenly in his damaged eye, eye dr had no idea why it came back. The extreme pain was coming from nerves healing he figures, like a shock of electricity as the eye was bloodshot also. Unfortunately the vision is leaving again slowly, with some luck he may have better vision out of it. Dr said it could happen again and make take years to heal the eye. Dr had never heard of anyone regaining sight once it was lost in an eye, and his vision was better than before he damaged the eye even.
So good news bad news I guess. He did get pain drops for eye in case the pain returns and antibiotics.
