Went through the same with my dad many years ago. Such a painful time, wish I could save others the experience but not an option.
My dad and I weren’t real close growing up but got closer as we aged. When he knew he was facing death he confided in me that he wasn’t afraid of dying but of not existing. We hugged for the first time and I’ve never felt closer to him.
I’ve had some experiences before and since then, that make me believe even though this life is temporary, it isn’t the end. God bless and strength to you sublime. You’re not alone.
