Some of the best concerts I ever saw - the voice, a guitar and a barstool onstage at the Tri-State Fair in Amarillo. He was a panhandle kid from Floydada. Saw him every year for about 5 years.
The man didn't need pyro, dancing girls, urban ethnic rhythmic chanting - he could just flat sing.
