The wife and I want to take the Vette and drive the parkway in June, maybe even do Skyline Drive as well. We have a week or so, so no need to hurry. We will go north to South.
Some thoughts and questions:
1. How much distance would be reasonable to cover in a single day? Probably would stop to see some things, but not to hike or anything like that.
2. How far off of the parkway do you need to go for a B&B or motel?
3. I'm thinking maybe a day for Skyline Drive and 2-3 for the Parkway, ending up in Asheville. Sound reasonable?
