I only vote on candidates or initiatives that I have researched, but the results of elections seem to hint that not's not the case with all voters.

As far as I'm concerned, if you are ignorant on political matters, do your fellow citizens a favor and don't vote. I'm not one of those people who say voting is a duty. It's a right and should be practiced responsibly, like other rights.
