I usually take mine to the car wash after the motor is warm I use an engine degreaser and let it sit for about 10 minutes they rinse,depending on how much crud you may have to do it more than once,once it's clean it pretty easy to keep that way. My old F350 Diesel was covered in crud from lack of care so that's what I did and a motor leak I had for years was easy to spot. Good luck Robbie.
