Taking the life of another animal you are not going to eat simply for "fun" is sadistic, and a sin against nature.

Sadly far too many can't understand that.

Anyway, the extinction of a species is caused almost entrirely by human encroachment on the species' habitats, not by hunting. Poaching of rhinos and elephants for their tusks to obtain a supposed aphrodisical ingredient is leading to the extinction of certain species of rhinos and to an unecessary loss of epephants, but legal hunting is not.

I totally support conservation of all species, but you, JoeToooool, are again off-base with your analyses. [Plural] Just because you don't like something does not mean it's either sinful nor supported by facts.
Council, in this reference Nature = God; Pantheism. You guys are on the same page but arguing because it's the internet. A life is taken period. That fact has karmic weight for the hunter(might be positive, might be bad) but for those who don't believe in spiritual accountability it is fine to just follow the "laws" Joe is speaking about Sport hunting and its increasing revenue base especially for the poor countries of Africa.
