Most electronic products like to operate at the same temperature so long time use is actually better for them than the heating and cooling of turning them off and on. They last longer. :yesnod:

Old tube type tvs used to last forever. It wasn't unusual to get 25 years outta one of those suckers without any service. So how long do the current ones last?
