Stop saying this, IT IS NOT CORRECT. Diabetes is caused either by your pancreas not producing enough insulin (type 1) or your cells are insulin resistant (type 2). Weight has nothing to do with it....

Because without meds I'm well over 7, that's how it works. Type 2 diabetes is diagnosed with three consecutive glucose levels over 130 and three consecutive A1C level over 7.0, that's the protocol.

I eat grilled meats like steak, pork, chicken 5 days a week. My A1C is 5.7 as a type 2.

Oh God. If you ate less without the Ozempic you would also see a drop in A1C. It's all about how many empty carbs you consume. Eat less of your baseline foods and A1C will drop.

So did you go on it for weight loss or for your A1c? Are you a type 2 diabetic? It's very unusual for doctors to start with Ozempic for type 2 diabetes especially for a "slightly" high A1C.

Pasta is my weakness and when I cheat it's usually some pasta in meat sauce. The problem is that it's an empty carb like bread and metabolizes into sugar in the system. Sucks.
