Why yes... Yes it is.
I just got it back from my luthier this morning and it's beautiful for an 1983. You too can own it for $1800 + shipping. My buddy is gonna take some professional pics next weekend and it's going on Flea-Bay for $1700 in a no reserve auction.. Great video ! :seasix: Attachment 7488 Attachment 7489 Attachment 7490 |
This list of top ten guitars is far more accurate than any list of top ten guitarists I've ever seen, that's for sure.

Not really sure if I think the LP should edge out the Strat.

I would of went with a tie on those two. |

I'd almost have to give it to the Strat for a coupe reasons. The LP had really fallen out of fashion until Clapton recorded Beano. And it happened again in the 80's when everyone was playing super-strats. I'm not gonna claim Slash saved the LP but G 'n R popularity gave it a big boost again.
And the Appetite LP was a replica. |

I'd say that the LP is built way better and the fit & finish puts the LP over the Strat. They both sound great. |
PRS should be on that list

Any of the Custom 22 / 24 variants I would think.

There are lots of songs people would swear are a strat that are done on an LP. That being said, the double cutaway of the strat gives you lots of neck access. |
