Yeah, I hope he does it right, Matt Smith's Doctor was, just pure genius. Young, flamboyant, happy, kinda clumsy but he had a good heart and did the character justice.

Its hard to go from a Character being a spry young man, to a guy at least 35 years his senior, in literally a flash...

i dont see this Doctor being comical, or fun...

For me, its quite a leap. From David Tennant to Matt Smith wasnt so bad...

I've liked all three of the new doctors for different reasons.

I wish we'd gotten more than one season with Christopher Eccleston. I enjoyed his approach. I know there are many that didn't.

I was sad to see David Tennant go.

Matt Smith took a few episodes to grow on me, but he did and it sucks to see him go. His ability to go from child-like adventure to pure anger brought a lot to the character.

I think Peter Capaldi is going to surprise a lot of people. Just a gut feel, but there's gotta be something that Steven Moffatt sees in what he can bring.

I hope the retain Jenna Coleman for a while, Matt Smith and David Tennant had some Good looking and clever women in their runs,

I have watched Doctor Who since the 1960's. Each Doctor makes the show their own. I look forward to a new personality and new quirks to the character.
