But switch to Fox News around today, and you'll get a bunch of talking heads talking about Newt Gingrich's fantastical plan to get $2.50 gas and why Obama's "over-regulation" and hatred of free enterprise are causing gas prices to rise. It's also evidence of Fox's drift from right-leaning activist news organization to right-lunging activist borderline-propaganda disseminator—it has always unabashedly supported the GOP, but perhaps it never had to strain and contort itself so ridiculously and counterfactually to do so...

There is ONE significant difference, that is that Bush encouraged oil exploration and drilling, this clown we have now, had stopped and hindered everything he can, and he keeps dicking around in the M/E instead to taking out iran's leadership.....cost of production allows 60 bucks/bbl out of the N. Dakota/Canadian finds....and they are large enough to sustain this country for the next 200 years at current consumption levels....the clown futures traders, probably led by Saudi interests, have it nearly twice that now....

gasoline accounts for some 40% of a bbl of oil.....so 24 bucks a bbl of oil is ~42? gallons so 17 gallons of gas, roughly....costing 24 bux....or roughly a buck.40/gallon....add about a buck for taxes and overhead....gas is roughly 2.50/gallon, and THAT's the truth.....

but it will not come to pass with that ass in the WH....and the do mo craps having over 40 senate seats, because they will fillibuster forever to stop any repeal of all the bullshit legislation they have forced on us over the last 50 years....
