Hope it is a good one........reputable seller.......and so it begins.....$650.00 bucks not too bad I thought....not looking forward to the 16 hour drive though.

Your son needs to make the drive. He did the damage. Why should you continually punish yourself and absolve him?

That is gonna be one ambitious project. I dont think I would even take that one on. You doing the repair yourself or farming it out?:confused5:

At the price point of the car, it's not worth the money. If it's for sentiment, the cost goes out the window and it's done for the soul. I've seen 150k spent restoring a 12k family station wagon. Depends on the motivation. And the person's personality.
