This was at 6pm earlier today, just as I was going to ski through it. Fresh powder is a rarity here, so enjoy it when you can. We've got twice that now. I skied home, my second time in 19 years here.

Looks nice! I did 22 years in Tahoe so I got my dose of mountain living with long winters. Don’t want to hassle it in retirement. But damn, it’s 28 here in south Louisiana. I may as well be back in the mountains!

One pipe is frozen running to a faucet on my deck. I didn’t have the water flowing fast enough on that one. I’ll see if I can clear it this afternoon when we hit 37 degrees. Until then I’ll just enjoy the fireplace and some four roses.

This was this morning on my way out to the slopes. We got about a foot.

Same here, lived in western CO for 25 years until moving to the beach 5 years ago. We get our snow fix by flying to CO to ski, then come back to the beach.

We left the snow shovels in the garage when we sold the CO house. :)
