Flat spot prevention??? Is it just me or are all of these people being sucked into a product that has no merit? Physic demand that the only way to prevent them is to move the tire often or take the weight off of it. |
I agree. Seems bogus to me.

$78.00 !!! I think $7.80 would be a better price .
Drive a little bit more and problem ( if there is one) is corrected. |
Flat spots on tires disappeared with bias ply tires. If radials, especially run flats, are kept at proper inflation there are no flat spots that will be noticed.

I have, but they were 40” bias ply off-road tires on my Bronco that I ran under 10 psi. After sitting more than a few days it was brutal, but it was fine after a couple of miles. |
The Pilot Sports on my C4 will flat-spot terribly if the car sits for a while. Same is true to a lesser extent with the Kumhos on my Blazer.
Yokohamas on my '63 haven't shown this problem, nor have Firestones on my pickup. Raising the air pressure during periods of extended-duration storage seems to help. Live well, SJW |
I've never had a problem with that. Now a bald spot, however...
