Harbor Freight scam
 

Last month, I was getting several HF emails stating I won a free prize. I reported them as spam via Yahoo and haven't seen any this month.

I doubt there is a Fortune 100,000 company that does not deal with spammers.

Yup, definitely not limited to HF. I'm surprised HF wants anonymous emails forwarded to them. Most companies simply tell you to delete them and never click on a link in an email.

If I get any email that says I won something my bullshit meter gets instantly pegged.

If it sounds too good to be true, it is...

My FIL has fallen for countless scams and lost thousands of dollars more than once.

He was stubborn and lost money 3 times getting his computer unlocked befoee he called me. Last year he gave his bank account info to someone :slap:
At this rate there won't be any money for the BIL to steal when he passes. :leaving:

So, if buying Chiwaneseium junk tools from HF isn't bad enough, somebody camps out on their marquee to spam you to f*ck over you just a bit more...

I got an email today, telling me that I had won a new "Harbor" pressure washer. They were so lazy that they forgot "Freight". :rofl:

Well, when you are at HF, HD, Lowes or a million other stores and you elect to get your receipt by email, you get the shit

A co-worker made one of these with an light bulb that worked at the base of the handle and would hand it to apprentices and tell them to "...plug it in and get to work".
