Thinking of Summer

I don't dislike the cold. I'm usually looking forward to the change to fall and winter. This winter has been different. Long stretches of below 40, which is odd for us even at 7600+ feet. Thankfully we haven't yet got the big one this year; just a few at about a foot, and and endless supply of 5 inchers (no homo). But, March is typically the snow month, so we'll see. Looked at some summer music tonight from my yute. Favorite song from one of my favorite albums.

1st thing I thought of too. Probably because the episode of Big Bang theory with her in it was on the box last night.

“If you married rocker Johnny Winter, you’d be Summer Winter”

Johnny Winter was a guitar God. I must have 7 or 8 of his CDs. "Hey, Where's Your Brother" is fantastic. Going to have to put it in the rotation this weekend.

An outstanding LP that has the Charles Brown classic, "please come home for Christmas"...

Fun fact (I think) Johnny recorded Mr Brown's now famous blues Christmas tune in the early 1960's shortly after Brown recorded it. Johnny was a kid maybe 12 or 13 years old.
And the version on the album you noted with Johnny and Edgar doing blues harmony still gives me chills...
