Pizza....for me it was more the company I had dinner with. Old Corvette running mate who got stationed overseas 8 years ago is in the area for training so we were up till 4am watching Velocity, and catching up...emails and facebook are ok, but there is nothing like good old face to face conversation. :cert:

My wife is still filling in for someone at work today, I got back from playing golf a couple hours ago. I'm thinking we'll just run out somewhere. Old Chicago sounds pretty good right now actually.

Since my wife is out of town, I trying to decide what wonderful delicious unhealthy food I'm going to abuse my digestive system with tonight. Pizza is a strong candidate. Then some bourbon later on. Thank you, Prilosec.:shots:

As it turns out I'm grilling some BBQ pork steaks and heating up some Bush's grillin' beans. We are going all out tonight!

Beef brisket, mac & cheese and beans, from a mediocre BBQ chain.

Tonight was Black Canyon Angus filets with scratch made coleslaw and potato chips. Tomorrow will be BBQ Flintstone beef ribs, Silver Queen corn on the cob and a baked potato.
Life is good right now.

Mary cooked a 14 lb turkey while I was at work today. Nice turkey dinner and stuffing ( dressing ) plus some veggies.

Best part will be turkey sandwiches for lunch this week :dance:

Tri-tip with Gorgonzola butter. Salad with bacon and roasted, slivered almonds.

Started with crispy Asian Pork Belly, entrée was Wild Boar Short Ribs with a spicy white sauce, cheesy mash potatoes, white bean hash, dessert was mini cinnamon sugar croissants with bacon able dipping sauce. Then we had drinks on the porch, mine being a few fingers of Angels Envy.
