Gas Prices...WTF?

It just seems to me that I went to sleep last night only to find gas costing $0.25 more than a day ago. WTF?

Just a 2 weeks ago, it was dropping, and now just in a matter of a few days, it raises faster than it goes down. Regular here is around $4.35/gal. Premium is almost $4.60.

I called the Obongo hotline and voiced your complaint! He still thinks you need to check your tire pressure and maybe consider a tune-up! He'd be right at home on CF with the n00bs..

He added "Real patriots don't complain about high fuel prices or taxes. Something you people need to understand."

Memorial Day Weekend is two weeks away. They are hiking the price up to take advantage of travels!!!

PLRX 05-12-2012 9:50pm

What are we talking about? The gas NEVER went down to the prices we had three months ago. It went down 10 cents. I got a Chevron 1/2 mile from home and its on the way to everything I do so I see the prices daily.

This is just part of all this BS we live in. Our comments, our vote or complaining to anybody in the senate will change the destiny our government has created for this nation.

The price of oil dropped $9 in one day so they are getting one last gouge in is the only explanation I can figure. At $96 a bbl it should be about $3.35...not $4.50 for premium.

:iagree: Got regular this a.m. at $3.27....

It's varying from that up to $3.59 for ethanol free gas, when I can find it. I never thought I'd be happy about paying a bit over $3 a gallon, but as much gas as I buy and given the recent prices, I'm nearly overjoyed for it to be this cheap.

Filled up with diesel for $3.89 over the weekend. Pretty much where it has been for the last few months.

DukeAllen 05-14-2012 7:24pm

Cheap stuff was $3.59 in Baltimore suburbs and $3.72 in the Philadelphia suburbs this weekend. Down about 17 cents in the last week or two.

Sweet 90 05-14-2012 7:30pm

Only $1.05 here per litre:D

To be honest, the Keystone pipeline would not lower your oil prices at all. Canada is a participant in the global oil market in which buyers and sellers trade volumes, mostly on the basis of short-term contracts. It is this interaction that sets the world price of oil.
Now what keystone will inevitably do would be bring a lot of high paying jobs as well as a "safe" source of oil from a country that isn't trying to kill y'all...............................yet:D
So stop pissing me off, got it. BTW which one of ya called me a phucking fossil? :paw2::paw::paw2::lolsmile::lolsmile:

Read post 15 smartass. Seeing as I'm in the tarsands, I'll think I'll look for the tap that says Arkansas, and IIRC it's shaped like a pink Miata:rofl:
