New Year's Eve traditions

What is your traditions if any for tonight?
We had family over or went to their houses years ago, nothing too much lately. The inlaws went bowling until they aged out few years ago. My shoulder couldn't take it anymore either.
Never much been into the large party or crowd thing myself.

Usually we go to the inlaws.

Not this year. We are still having headaches from the kungflu.

Usually in Vegas or on a ship right about now. Today it’s food delivery and a good movie

Skiing for the last 30 years.... this year staying home.

I usually stay in on 2 nights every year, St Pats and NYE as they're both amateur drinkers nights, and no good can come of that

Past 10 years or so, grandkids have come down and stayed over the Christmas holidays, we play games, favorite movies, range, poker (getting better). Usually we take back on New Years, so nothing planned.

Very dull, but that's how we like it, won't even stay up until midnight to watch the ball drop, don't care.

Have a healthy New Years.

Last year we spent New Years on a cruise. This year will be back to normal... probably just dinner at home.

NYE, Halloween, and my B-day are the three days per year I won't go out and do anything. All three days there are always too many drunks on the road and the bars are all over crowded.

Usually stay home or at friends in Conn. and stay over....drink large amounts of alcohol and have good food. First thing eaten after the stroke of midnight is pickled herring and bang pots outside while yelling Happy New Year !
This year wife and I are here alone but I will still follow the herring and pot banging

The last few years I have gone over to a buddy's house and shot pool all night.

He's too paranoid about 'rona this year so I'm guessing he'll be under his bed having a sip of champagne through a small slit in his mask. (He's a liberal, so, yeah)

How long do the headaches last?

Yep. Been friends for decades. It has its challenges. We don't talk about it. He got married and his wife voted for Trump in 2016...that didn't happen this time.

We were in Chicago doing some renovation work and the subject of gun control came up. That was tense. We ended up going opposite ways in the condo to work alone. Thankfully alcohol helped smooth it all over.

Mine only lasted a week after I was negative BUT I have had that same headache come back for one day. Like one last "I'm gonna fk with you" attempt. It was dead between the eyes so I figured it was my sinuses fighting the good fight.

Why are an inordinate number of drunks on the road specifically on your birthday? Just how many alcoholic friends do you have?
