Onward to Walmart to find a new one. Cover me.

Why Wal-Mart and not Amazon?
Wal-Mart mostly carries crap TVs, especially Vizios. You can get a good deal on a good quality TV from Amazon. Or you can get a better deal than Wal-Mart on a bottom barrel TCL Roku TV, which is still better than Vizio. |

He's going to Wally World before the crack of noon when the dregs of society wake up and head over there. There will be few customers, and none will look like they have been featured on an episode of COPS or My 600lb life. |
Buy from Wally World and you'll be buying another one again within 2 years or less.

How big of a tv you going to buy??

Costco > Walmart > Amazon

I gave my 7 year old Samsung to my daughter and purchased another Samsung from Best Buy on sale. A friend paid twice as much for a “burn in” LG. Go with QLED if you don’t want burn in.

I have a Vizio going on 10 years without a single issue.

Many years ago, had a nasty lightening strike in backyard, wiped out all but one of the computer inputs on my Vizio....so in back bedroom used with streaming device only.....up front here is a Sceptor and came from Walmart, I think...certainly not Ammozone.....might have been Best Buy...but the TV in LR been great for some years now.....but I am VERY pair a NOID about lightening.....so I have 1-1 isolation transformers running computers and TV/cable modems with supression power strips before the transformers, and AFTER the them too....so double on the surge crap.......so far, so good.....
Floriduh is lightening capital of the nation......:issues: |

Within two years, there were dark sections of the screen and it progressively got worse. No more vizio for me. |
Why buy from WalMart? Pick one under $900.00 and just take it. :island14:

Phew, made it back.
hell of a fire fight..... old: 50" panasonic plasma, circa 2006 new: 55" LG LED, circa today bigger screen, but same overall size, which is good, as we do have some constraints either side. wall mounted on a swivel, so Mrs. DAB can angle towards the kitchen if she's baking and watching something. old one was on a fixed base. fairly easy set up, good to go. |
don't have a costco card, and Mrs. DAB didn't want to wait a few days. $468, done.
