What is your favorite instrument?

For me? Bagpipes. That sound is mesmerizing to me. I wanted them at my wedding, but it didn't work out that way.

Supposedly, I have Scottish heritage, but I don't drink scotch, and I don't care for bagpipes.

The only thing good about bagpipes is they will burn in a fireplace.:yesnod:

About the only time I can listen to them.

Several years ago, my daughter and I were in Edinburgh and happened to discover the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo was held while we were there. I was never much of a bagpipe fan, but that experience changed my mind. What an awesome event. Lots of YouTube vids.

In a few very short years this will be played as I am lowered into my grave. The second tune will be played after the ceremony is over and people begin to depart the grave site in a manner similar to a New Orleans funeral - dirges on the way to the grave and a more upbeat tune upon departure from the grave.

That's kind of like deciding between a Cheeseburger and a Pizza

Guitar/Piano for me.

Acoustic guitar for me. I actually own one, took lessons a few times in my life, but just haven't put the effort in to get any good at it. Maybe over this winter...

My wife’s sister lives in Edinburgh and we have seen the Military Tattoo also. Cool event. We enjoy the bagpipes when we’re over visiting.
