Clay Barred a C3
Our Club has a "Wax & Chat" session every other week at my place, coffee, donuts, and mostly bullshit, and we clay bar a car each session.
This beautiful C3 turned out great. http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/IMG_3134.jpg http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/IMG_3143.jpg http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/IMG_3142.jpg http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/IMG_3141.jpg http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/IMG_3140.jpg http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/IMG_3139.jpg http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/IMG_3145.jpg |
Nice...how many cars do you get in before you run out of donuts and willpower?

clay barring a car adds about a foot to the depth of the paint.

Just curious...y'all clay bar then wax it right? It doesn't take all that long to clay bay. The car looks beautiful! :yesnod:

exactly, Beadist. think of the clay bar as an eraser and the car as a piece of paper with pencil marks on it. the clay pulls all the dirt out of the finish so the wax works better.

I need to clay mine. But that's not going to happen before spring.

That's a great Idea, maybe I can talk my club into it,all they ever want to do is go out to eat.
