My nephew got hit by a car and killed last night
 

20 years old, Marine, home for his grandfather's funeral. Was at a bar, went out for some air and for some reason wandered out into the middle of the road.

My ex-SIL just buried her father, now this. We are all beside ourselves on this. This kid joined the Marines and really excelled. They had him as part of a group that augmented embassy security, he just got back from Turkey and was about to head out to Africa.

RIP Max, your loss is huge.
