No, the vettes are still parked, was planning on coming out and the tracker is the cheapest to operate so...but Mike was kind and took me out in his, so I could get a speed and G fix :D. Hopefully next season I will get things in line so I can play.

I have a tran leak in the 85 which will have to fixed...can't spew iquids on a track lol. and the '77 not sure if I want to convert that back for street use and pick up a c4/c5 track rat. I have lots of time to figure that out...job hunting is more of a priority, so I can't think about the cars in any kind of depth right now.

I believe its the seal by the torque converter, the trans has to be dropped, it has 93k on it so i was thinking of having it rebuild while it was down.

Turbo 350? That might be a good idea since you won't be going easy on it,lol.

the turbo 350 is in the 77 and that had a shift kit installed, manual upshift.

The folks I'm dealing with are really top-notch and now that we've had a chance to meet and talk face to face, the information should be much more forthcoming than was before.

I will be happy to let my boss in D.C. know that the fears I impressed on him were completely unfounded and they are up to the tasks required!
