I assure you by February they will be verboten. I know people that say so. :yesnod: |
Went to a local gun show today (probably outlawed in Feb., too). Missed out on a new Colt for $900. Another guy has an older one (new in box) for $1400. That's it! Handguns, accessories, some ammo made up the bulk of vendor tables. Some knockoff's for $800. I didn't recognize the mfg. of the individual parts.

I haven't been in since before Christmas but Palmetto State Armory just opened a store in Garden City (Savannah). They had a shit ton of ARs on display, and they're open Sundays. 912 355 3720.

I remember looking at them last year, S&W M&P's were going for under $ 500 all over. I'm kicking myself for not buying one then. The price of every kind of gun went up at least 40%, the prices of AK's went up even more, all in less than a year.
A quick search of gundeals reveals this unknown name to me flat top AR for $ 500: https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting-...gn=Custom+Link I've never done business with the selling company, so I'm not making an endorsement or recommendation. |
Prices are through the roof. Last year I bought Ruger AR15's for as low as $499. Now they are $899. DelTons were $399. Now $599/699. Ridiculous.

I sold all of my guns and ammo in a private sale.

When you find something at an acceptable price, purchase it. :yesnod:
Prices are way up due to lack of supply. |

You can buy and order anything from anywhere, and have it sent to a local FFL holder in your area. The actual physical transfer is from that local FFL holder to you. Just talk to someone in advance so you have things arranged....you both agree on how much they charge, and they get a heads up on what you're having sent to them, from who, and when. Try this link to find FFL's near you. https://www.gunbroker.com/ffl/index They list the prices each FFL will charge you for a transfer as well, although I'd call them first just to confirm that and introduce yourself. It seems like a weird concept, mail ordering something that has to be shipped to someone else, then you pick it up and get backgrounded, but it's quite common, apparently. |
Check GT Didtributors in Rossville, GA. I purchased there before. And you wouldn't need an FFL from them.

Got home and screwed on my Sparrow suppressor. VERY pleased, dime sized groups at 50 yds, and with subsonic ammo, all I hear is a click. The shell casing hitting the porch is louder than the shot. |

Around here pawn shops that sell guns are much cheaper for transfers than the local gun stores. $20 vs $50 but YMMV

They changed the Dalton, civil war show, too. It's at the end of Jan. vs the old dates in Feb. We will have a table. Quote:

I picked up this Henry 357 in August. Good luck finding them cheap now.
