Exhaust the right choice
 

Does anyone have an opinion on Billy Boat PRT's Vs the Bullets. I like u to know I am coming. I have narrowed it down to these two canidates. Anyone have bullets or prt's installed. I just have a stock auto 97

I'm a GHL man myself :dance:

GHL over any B&B system.


If stuck on those two choices though, the Bullets if you want REALLY loud, and don't mind the interior drone that comes with it. The thing I never much liked about the B&B Bullets, is how far the tips stick out past the bumper.

PRT's still sound plenty nice and aggressive, but not as obnoxious as the Bullets.

Running Bullets from B&B, but never stay in the RPM range for drone long enough for it to bother me....Plus, it's sound is second to none at WOT.

I am running the bullets with LG LT's and a off-road x-pipe..... There is drone, but I absolutely love the sound..... the drone doesn't bother me at alll

Drove my buddies TR 03 with LG long tubes and B&B BUllets and it was a beautiful sounds he had the partition in and the drone wasnt an issue I was going to go with those but picked up a awesome deal on brand new Corsa Sport Touring exhaust that I couldnt pass up. I am however contimplating a change to B&B's..

Borla Stingers here. Rich, deep tone, nasty as all get out at WOT. But, the drone is a little annoying sometimes since I put headers on.

Had Borla Stingers for years... great WOT w/ minimal drone, then after the cam install the drone got to be a bit much. Tried some Corsa Indys.... loved the sound, but hated that the exhaust wouldn't stay straight. Went back to Borlas. Thought I was going to sell the car and went back to stock... way too quiet. Now I have a set of Corsa Extremes in the garage for a winter install.

In my ealier mustang days I ran a set of flowmaster exhaust on my 5/0 and didnt mind the drone cuz u just turn up the radio a little.

Was that dyno pull with the BB Bullets?

I've got the Bullets and love the sound of them.

473/457 hp/tq. It was done with almost zero tuning, and following about 30 mins in traffic no cool down. I have couple of vids from my consequent pulls (after tuning it a bit and with cool down), but I cannot open my external hard drive.....:ulan:

sweet, I think I will go with the bullets. May have to start with a new topic but does anyone know of someone that may want to get rid of thier bullets. I found used ones but almost as much as new ones.

Don't buy any exhaust until you've seen/heard it in person. Bullets are very lound and drone when cruising. They'll be fine as your only mod, but when you add headers and then internal engine mods they get a bit much. Is your car a weekend toy or a driver? Also bullets stick out like 2" past the bumper and look silly.

it is a weekend toy/cruiser not a daily driver.

2" past the back sucks. I really don't see that in any of the pics i have seen. Can anybody post a side pic look of thier bullets.
