Just shipped the Sub to NY for servicing, and it'll likely be gone for about a month. Got sick of wearing a Walmart watch, so I splurged a little. Upscale, very comfortable, and mechanical movement. Hard to tell from my picture, but the face is a deep jade green. Supposedly limited edition, and there are several on eBay for more than I paid.

My daily is a Citizen's EcoDrive Stilleto, but I have a Movado Visio and an antique 1945 Breitling for fancy times. Seiko is a good score. Congrats.

I own 4 Seiko watches; love 'em.

Also like Armani brand.

I looked at this Seiko last weekend; almost bought it:

had a little problem making out the hour/minute hands though (may have been the store lighting).

I like these.

Reminds of shopping in K-Mart as a kid.

Since this is a higher end watch, can it be serviced like a Rolex and have the bracelet polished? Band is stainless steel, so I'm thinking so? Where would one send it for that service when the time was right?

That's a handsome watch.

Nice watches up in this thread. But I'll stick to not wearing the Omegas and Tag that I have. Actually, I don't know where my Tag is... haven't seen it since before the move. :willy:

Very nice, congratulations! I saw that watch at my AD last Friday. That green is sharp! :seasix:

Yes, no problem getting a Seiko serviced. Be careful who you let polish the watch, it comes with Seiko's Diashield coating to help resist scratching.

Handsome watch, but I'm not a fan of rubber, or leather bands.
