The View co-host Sunny Hostin has claimed the solar eclipse, an earthquake, and incoming cicadas are signs of climate change.

During Monday’s episode, Hostin made the embarrassing claims but was quickly called out by her co-hosts.

Hostin stated the earthquake in New York last week, the solar eclipse and the impending cicada event could mean “the Rapture is here”.

“Let’s say, all those things together would maybe lead one to believe that either climate change exists, or something is really going on,” Hostin said.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg quickly corrected Hostin, explaining the cicada event happens “every 17 years”.

Co-host Joy Behar also quickly educated Hostin on her claims about earthquakes.

“Earthquakes are not at the mercy of climate change. It’s underground,” she said.

Luckily for "Sunny", she is too stupid to realize how embarrassed someone should be for being corrected by a nitwit like Whoopi.

All liberals have single-digit IQs, thus the stupid ones are labeled smart by the more-stupid ones.

A few facts if anyone cares:

Firstly, Sunny said "Cicada" with the first "a" being a short "a" like the last one. Whoopi corrected her to make the first "a" a long "a", which for most of the country is the way people say it, but there are parts of the country where people pronounce it the way Sunny did. So, Whoopi just confirmed she is ignorant.

Secondly, if Sunny wasn't an idiot, and understood what is happening with the Cicadas this year, she could have explained what the "once in a hundred years" thing actually meant. There are different broods of Cicadas all over the country, that come out at different years. Most broods come out every 17 years, a minority come out every 13 years. This year, a 17 year brood will be coming out AND a 13 year brood in the same part of the country, the midwest extending down to the deep South.
