Lester is picked to start for the Cubs, which I think is great. After all, he's 3-0 in career World Series starts. Also Kyle Schwarber may be used as a DH, great to see him back. He injured his knee at the very first of the season. He was great last year and was badly missed. I'm sure it means a lot to him and the club to have him in the lineup in the World Series (henceforth WS to save typing.)

Also got back from seeing the doctor about my sore back, so hopefully with the new drugs I'll be able to leap proudly out of my chair as the Cubs score baskets of deplorable runs against the not-really-hated-at-all foes, the Injuns.

Ok, so for those keeping score...

Nike did the self lacing shoes, hoverboards exist and the Cubs are in the world series...

Obama is a White Sox fan (even though he's a north sider) but supposedly Hillary is a Cubs fan although she wore Yankee hats a lot. I don't know any true Cubs fan who would claim to also be a fan of the Yankees. That would be like saying "Yeah, I really like the Cubs but also the Cards are great." Nor do you see many Philly Eagles fans walking around sporting their Cowboys jerseys.

That was a terrible pitch by Lester for his last out, second to last pitch. Way outside, called a strike by shitty home plate umpire.
